Watershed Walk: Blunn Creek

On Sunday, November 25, come take a walk with a City of Austin Watershed Protection Department (WPD) Environmental Scientist along Blunn Creek in Big Stacy Park! Participants will be shown areas where we have planted a few hundred trees and where we have already sown over 200 pounds of native grass and wildflower seeds within the Grow Zones of the Blunn Creek riparian zone. Todd Jackson from WPD will explain the benefits of Grow Zones and the importance of native plants. This is a great opportunity for families, all ages are welcome!

Location: Meet at Big Stacy Pool parking lot, 800 East Live Oak
Bring: a water bottle and wear sturdy shoes
